LiftWorks ships compact tractors, mini excavators, and tractor loaders nationwide across the U.S. using specialized heavy equipment freight carriers. All shipments originate from our 75,000 sq ft distribution center at 800 Uline Wy, Allentown, PA 18195.

Shipping Methods

Standard Heavy Equipment Freight

  • Flatbed trailers (most tractors/loaders up to 12,000 lbs)

  • Step-deck/lowboy trailers (mini excavators 2.5-4 tons, taller equipment)

  • Enclosed trailer option available for high-value orders (+15% fee)

Carriers: Partnered with Landstar, TMC Transport, and heavy haul specialists.

Shipping Costs

How Calculated: Weight × distance + equipment type + access fees
Average Ranges:

  • Loaders: $300-$600

  • Tractors: $800-$1,800

  • Excavators: $1,500-$3,000

  • West Coast: +25% from East Coast baseline

Delivery Requirements

Customer Responsibilities:

  • Forklift/pad eyes for unloading (most equipment 2,000+ lbs)

  • Site access: 12-14 ft wide driveway/road clearance

  • Permits: Over-width (>8.5 ft) or over-height (>13.5 ft) arranged by carrier

  • Receiver signature required

No residential delivery surcharges—we coordinate with carriers for farm/ranch access.

Inspection & Claims

  1. Inspect on delivery—check for crate damage, missing parts

  2. Note issues immediately on Bill of Lading (BOL)

  3. Take photos of any damage

  4. Refuse delivery if severe damage/quantity short

Carrier handles claims—we assist with replacement from inventory.

Title & Risk of Loss

  • Title transfers upon shipment from Allentown

  • Risk during transit: Carrier's responsibility

  • Risk transfers to buyer upon delivery signature

International Shipping

Currently U.S. only. Contact support for Canada/Mexico quotes.

Order Tracking

  • Real-time GPS tracking provided post-shipment

  • ETA updates via email/text

  • Live dispatch coordination for time-sensitive deliveries

Special Handling

Hazardous Materials: Batteries drained/removed pre-shipment per DOT
Attachments: Detached for separate pallets when possible
Custom Crating: Foam blocking, steel banding for overseas containers

Shipping Address Changes

+$150 fee for pre-shipment changes. Post-shipment reroutes: Carrier rates apply.
